What is Coaching?
A coaching process helps you reach your goals. You define your targets, review your resources and generate new strategies to execute your action plan.
The definition of Coaching according to the ICF (International Coaches Federation) is the following:
Coaching is partnering with individuals in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Professional coaches provide an ongoing partnership designed to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives. Coaches help people improve their performance and enhance the quality of their lives. Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual needs. The coach’s job is to provide support to enhance the skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.
To achieve that we hold dialogues with powerful questioning processes that enable you to discover your full potential.
A coaching process usually takes 4 to 10 sessions. Each session will take between 60 to 90 minutes. The ideal frequency is weekly or every second week, depending on the client and the goals being targeted.
